The temple of Kedarnath, located at a height of 3,581 mts, stand at the head of the Mandakini river, with Kedarnath peak keeping vigil above it


Also known as Vishal Badri, this temple located at the height of 3,133 mts. is the largest Himalayas and most popular of Vishnu pilgrimages among the five Badries. The original temple here is believed to be built by King Pururava and the icon of the lord carved by Vishwakarma, the creator of the gods.


Gangotri is the place high in the Garhwal Himalayas from where the holy Ganges originates. According to the legend, it was here the Ganga descended on the earth, when Lord Shiva released the mighty river from the locks of his hair. The temple of Gangotri, dedicated to Goddess Ganga stands on the bank of the river.


Yamunotri is situated in the western region of the Garhwal Himalayas and is at a height of 3,235 meters above sea level. Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna.The shrine of Yamunotri is located on the Bandar Poonch peak.

Here Anyone Can Cook Rice By Packing It In A Cloth And Dipping It In The Hot Water Of The Hot Kund. Pilgrims Take This Cooked Rice Home As “Prasad”.
Here Near The Temple “Pooja” Can Be Offered To DivyaShila. After Taking Bath InJamunabaiKund’s Warm Water And Having “Darshan” Of Pious “Yamunaji” Returning To Jankichatti. Later Drive Back ToBarkot. Overnight Stay AtBarkot.

DAY 4 Day 2: Haridwar-Barkot( 220 Km)

Kedarnath: The Kedarnath Shrine, One Of The 12 Jyotirlingas Of Lord Shiva, Is A Scenic Spot Situated, Against The Backdrop Of The Majestic Kedarnath Range. Kedar Is Another Name Of Lord Shiva, The Protector And The Destroyer. According To Legend, The Pandavas After Having Won Over The Kaurava In The KurukshetraWar, Felt Guilty Of Having Killed Their Own Brothers And Sought The Blessings Of Lord Shiva For Redemption. He Eluded Them Repeatedly And While Fleeing Took Refuge At Kedarnath In The Form Of A Bull. On Being Followed He Dived Into The Ground, Leaving His Hump On The Surface. The Remaining Portions Of Lord Shiva Appeared At Four Other Places And Are Worshipped There As His Manifestations. DAY 8Day 08: kedarnath – guptkashi (14 kms trek down / 32 km drive)

Morning poojadarshankedarnath templelater start trek down to gaurikund.On arrival meet with our driver & drive to guptkashi.On arrival check in at the hotel / camp.Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 9 Day 09: guptkashi – badrinath (173 kms / 7-8 hrs)

Morning leave for shribadrinathji. On arrival take the holy darshan. (if time permit). Evening visitbyasgufa, bheempul, Saraswati River.overnight stay at hotel.

Tapt kund: natural thermal springs on the bank of the river alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the badrinath temple.
Naradkund: a recess in the river, near taptkund, forming a pool from where the badrinath idol was recovered.
Mata murty temple: devoted to the mother of sribadrinathji. Other important temples include seshnetra temple, urvashi temple and charanpaduka.
Mana village: inhabited by an indo-mongolian tribe, it is the last indian village before tibet.
Bhimpul: on the other side of mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge lies over the roaring saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by bhim, the second eldest among the five pandava brothers.
Vyas gufa (cave): near mana village, this is a rock-cave where vedvyas is believed to have composed the mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.

DAY 10 Day 10: badrinath – joshi math -rudraprayag /srinagar (156 kms / 7-8 hrs)

Morning after artidarshan drive tojoshi math visit narsingh temple, shankarchrya math after journey to rudraprayag, on arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Rudraprayag: one of the holy prayag of five famous prayag of uttarakhand. Confluence of river alaknanda and mandakini.

DAY 11 DAY 11: RUDRAPRYAG/Srinagar – RISHIKESH(142 kms / 6 hrs)

Morning drive to Rishikesh.On arrival visit lakshmanjulla ram julla ,trivenighatbarathmandiretc.. Eveniningcheck in at hotel. Halt at rishikesh or haridwar

DAY 12 Day 12: delhi departure (210 kms / 6-7 hrs)

Morning drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi drop you at the airport / railway station for onwards destination.
