BADA BAGH OR BIG GARDEN Is Located 6 Km From Jaisalmer On The Ramgarh Road. During The 16th Century, This Garden Was Commissioned By Maharawal Jait Singh And Was Completed By His Son Lunakaran. This Garden Includes A Tank And A Dam, Along With A Govardhan Stambh (Pillar). GADSISAR LAKE Was Built During The 14th Century By Maharwal Gadsi. This Artificial Rainwater Lake Was The Chief Water Source During That Time. There Are Numerous Shrines And Small Temples On The Embankment Of This Lake. The Main Attractions Of The Lake Are The Different Species Of Birds, Which Migrate From Distinct Places.
PATWON-KI-HAVELI is located in the main city. It was built by a famous trader named Guman Chand and his sons. This massive five-storied construction has five intricately decorated huge suites. The large corridors and the decorated walls are excellent representations of the art form that prevailed. The entire construction is made of yellow sandstone. The grandeur and the architecture of the monument add immense value to the cultural heritage of the city. Out of the five havelis, one is converted into a museum. These Temples Have Been Named As Vimal Vasahi, Luna Vasahi, Pithalhar, Khartar Vasahi And Mahavir Swami. Vimal Vasahi Or Shri Adi Nath Ji Temple Is Devoted To The First Jain Tirthankara.
GURU SHIKHAR Is The Highest Mountain Peak In The Region, At Around 1,722 M Above Sea Level. Tourists Can Enjoy Trekking At This Mountain Peak And Can Get An Aerial View Of The Mount Abu Region. Located On The East Bank Of The Pichola Lake, It Has Several Palaces Within Its Complex. Considered The Largest Of Its Kind In Rajasthan, The Palatial Building Displays A Fusion Of The Rajasthani And Mughal Architectural Styles. Built On A Hilltop, The Palace Provides An Aerial View Of The City And Its Surrounding. Opening hours 9.30am-5.30pm, last entry 4.30pm
Pichola Lake Is An Artificial Fresh Water Lake That Has Been Named After The Nearby Picholi Village. Created In The Year 1362 AD, It Is One Of The Several Contiguous Lakes, Developed Over The Last Few Centuries In And Around Udaipur City. The Lake Was Built By Banjara, A Gypsy ‘Banjara’ Tribesman, Who Transported Grain During The Reign Of Maharana Lakha. Over The Centuries, The Lake’s Surroundings And The Several Islands Within The Lake Have Been Developed With Palaces, Marble Temples, Family Mansions And Bathing Ghats Or Chabutaras.

Fateh Sagar Lake is the second artificial lake of Udaipur, the first being Jaisamand lake. Located in the north of Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake lies just besides the entrance to Moti Magri Hill. Built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh, Fateh Sagar Lake got its name from Maharana Fateh Singh, who later made additions to it. Talking about the statistics of Fateh Sagar, the lake extends to the length of 2.4 km, 1.6 km. in width and deep to the extent of 11.5 meter. During the monsoons, the lake covers the total area of around 1 sq km.
Fateh Sagar Lake is well-planned with three intake channels and an overflow channel that is usually brought into play in the rainy season. Fateh Sagar Lake is embellished by three small islands, which can be reached by taking a boat ride in the lake.
Saheliyon Ki Bari Is Famous For Its Lush Green Lawns, Marble Art And Fountains. Located On The Banks Of Fateh Sagar Lake, The Garden Was Built In The 18th Century By Maharana Sangram Singh For The Royal Ladies. Apart From Fountains In Its Four Water Pools, Chiselled Kiosks And Marble Elephants, The Garden Is Also Embellished With A Lotus Pool And Bird-Fountains. Green Lawns, Flowerbeds And Marble Pavilions Are The Highlights Of The Garden. Built By Maharana Bhopal Singh, A Pavilion Of Rain Fountains Was Made In Order To Form An Illusion Of Rain Dancing In Cadence With Dancing Maids.
Jagdish Temple Is Located In The City Palace Complex Of Udaipur. Made In The Indo-Aryan Style Of Architecture, The Temple Is Dedicated To Lord Vishnu (Laxmi Narayan), The Preserver Of The Universe.Built By Maharana Jagat Singh, Who Ruled Udaipur During 1628-1653, It Is Celebrated For Being The Largest Temple In The City.
Monsoon Palace, formerly known as the Sajjan Garh Palace, is a hilltop palatial residence in the Udaipur city. It is named as Sajjangarh after Maharana Sajjan Singh (1874–1884) of the Mewar Dynasty, who built Sajjangarh Fort in 1884. It offers a panoramic view of the city’s lakes, palaces and surrounding countryside. It was built basically to watch the monsoon clouds; hence, appropriately, it is popularly known as Monsoon Palace. The Monsoon Palace provides a beautiful view of the sunset. High in the Aravalli Hills, just outside Udaipur, the Palace is illuminated in the evenings, giving a glow of golden orange.
