DAY 2 CHENNAI –KANCHIPURAM (75 KM/2 HOUr)
Morning after breakfast start journey to kanchipuram is one of the seven holy cities in the country, and a visit is believed to bestow salvation.once had over a thousand temples. Today, there are more than a hundred extant, and all are worth a visit. And also has some notable churches and mosques. It is popular for its renowned crafted world famous silk sarees, a traditional home industry. The city was the capital of the early Cholas and it was the Pallava capital between the 6th and 8th centuries. Proceed to visit kanchi kamakshi temple one of the three prominent shakti temples, Kanchi Kamakshi temple is known for the exotic sculptures and is a center of the shakti worship. The imposing Kamakshi statue is larger than life and is one of the attractions of the temple Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple is dedicated to Kamakshi, an incarnation of Goddess Parvati. Within the ‘Gayatri Mandapam,’ the sanctum is situated below the gold-plated vimana and is supported by 24 pillars that coordinate with the 24 words of the ‘Gayatri Mantra’ Rajiv Gandhi Memorial is situated in Sriperumpudhur. DAY 03-VELLORE sightseeing
Morning after breakfast full day vellore sightseeing .firstly visit to Sripuram Golden Temple is a Mahalakshmi temple, which was inaugurated on 24th August, 2007. The temple covering and the sculptures are made of more than 1500 kg of pure gold.
Next visit to Jalakanteshwara Temple was built in the year 1550 A.D. The temple is a small architectural wonder of Vijayanagar. Vellore Fort, built by the Nayakar chieftains of the Vijayanagar Empire is completely built of granite blocks. It was built in the 16th century and frequently exchanged hands between various strong empires.
Night dinner and rest in hotel.

DAY O4 –VELLORE –CHENNAI (140 KM/3HOURS)
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drop to Chennai airport /railway station.

•Valluvar Kottam is a popular destination in Chennai. Valluvar Kottam was built as a memorial to Thiruvalluvar, the author of ‘Thirukkural’. Valluvar Kottam consists of an auditorium and a memorial. The auditorium can accommodate 4000 people at a time. The auditorium is surrounded by granite pillars on which all the verses from Thirukkural have been carved. It required about 3000 stone blocks to construct Valluvar Kottam (Timing: 8.00 am to 6.00 pm (Closed on Friday & National Holidays)

•Marina Beach of Chennai is a popular destination. Marina Beach is one of the longest urban beaches in the world. Stretched along the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal for about 12 km, Marina Beach is bordered by St. George Fort in the North and Besant Nagar in the South. •Sripuram Golden Temple is a Mahalakshmi temple, which was inaugurated on 24th August, 2007. The temple covering and the sculptures are made of more than 1500 kg of pure gold. • Jalakanteshwara Temple was built in the year 1550 A.D. The temple is a small architectural wonder of Vijayanagar. The temple is within the fort complex and the walls of the temple are full of carvings of Nandi and small gopuras. You will find amazing work in the corridors as well. The temple was considered a masterpiece at the time of its construction and now it has become a marvel on this land of Vellore.

•Vellore Fort, built by the Nayakar chieftains of the Vijayanagar Empire is completely built of granite blocks.
