Laxmi Narayan Temple, also known as Birla Mandir, is one of Delhi’s major temples and a major tourist attraction. Built by the industrialst Sh. J.K. Birla in 1939, this beautiful temple is located in the west of Connaught Place. The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the condition that people of all castes will be allowed to enter the temple.

Is A Former Residence Of The First President Of India, Jawahar Lal Nehru. Its A Classic Example Of British Architecture Designed By Robert Tor Russel In 1930. After His Demise In 1964, The Residence Was Rehabilitated Into A Museum-Cum-Library.

Is A World Heritage Site And Has Survived The Ravages Of Time Impressively. The Minar Of Delhi Is Surrounded By A Lush Green Garden, Which Is An Ideal Leisurely Place For Visitors. RED FORT :

Red Fort which is also known as Lal Qila was built by the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan. This monument represents the grandeur of the Mughal Court, which was constructed during the 17th century. Lal Qila was once the residential area of the Imperial Family of India. It was the capital of the Mughal rulers until 1857, when Bahadur Shah Zafar II went in exile after he was defeated by the Britishers. In 2007, Red Fort was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is situated in Old Delhi. The construction of this fort started in 1638 and it took over 10 years to complete the work in 1648. It was originally called as ‘Qila-i-Mubarak’, meaning the blessed fort, as it was the royal residence of Mughals . Visiting Hours: 9:30AM to 4:30PM daily (except Monday)
