According to the Hindus Mythology, Lord Shiva spends his most of the time on the top of the holy Mount Kailash, practicing Yogic austerities, joy and love with his divine consort Parbati (Mother of Mythology). The Lake Mansarovar and the holy Mount Kailash are the SOUL of all AUM followers in the world.
“Conventional wisdom says a single circuit of Mt. Kailash wipes out the sins of a lifetime, 108 Parikramas guarantees enlightenment. A ritual bath in the sacred Mansarovar Lake delivers pilgrim to Brahma’s paradise and a drop drink of its water relinquishes the sins of hundred of lifetimes.”

KAILASH LOCATION: Western Tibet.
ALTITUDE: Kailash peak (6714m) above the Sea level.
BASE CAMP: Darchen (4560 m) above Sea level.
CLIMATE: Unpredictable (Max 20 degree Celsius to Min. –10 degree Celsius).
BELIFES: Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Bon-Po (all AUM followers).
VISITING TIME : Late April to October.
PARIKRAMA (Kora) KAILASH: 52 Km. {three days} – 42 Km. only by walk.
ALTITUDE OF MANAS: (4550m) above Sea level.
PARIKRAMA OF MANAS: 102 Km. (one day by Land Cruiser).
KILOMETER FROM KTM: 850 (one way) including 38 Km round of Kailash Parbat.
TOTAL JOURNEY: From Nepal to Nepal is 12nights to 13days normally and changes as per program itineraries.

DAY 1 DAY 1: BANGALORE –KATHMANDU [BY FLIGHT]

On Arrival Kathmandu Is The Capital City Of Nepal After Reach Kathmandu And Transferred To Hotel. After Check In And Fresh Up Our Tour Representative Giude And Brief Discussion About Mansa Sarvora Yatra .After That Night Dinner And Rest In Hotel.

DAY 2 DAY 2: KATHMANDU –KODARI [130 KM ]

Mornings after breakfasts start our journey to MANASA SAROVAR YATRA first we proceed Darshan of the PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE: one of the most sacred hindu temples of nepal – pashupatinath temple is located on both banks of bagmati river on the eastern outskirts of kathmandu. Pashupatinath is the most important temple dedicated to god shiva. Every year this temple attracts hundreds of elderly followers of hinduism. The main temple of pashupatinath is a building with a bunk roof and a golden spire. And visit
Visit BOUDHANATH is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism. The stupa is located in the town of Boudha, on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. From above, Bodnath Stupa looks like a giant mandala, or diagram of the Buddhist cosmos.

After lunch group will departure to Kodari.2500m – 130km (Nepal-China Border) by private tourist coach.
Kodari is the border city of Nepal and next to the border is Zhangmu town of Tibet. One has to cross the Friendship Bridge to enter China. In ancient times, it was the starting point of a trans-Himalayan caravan route. Newar traders headed north from Kodari and after crossing Kuti pass turned east to continue their journey across the Tibetan Plateau to Lhasa

DAY 3 DAY 3: KODARI-NYALAM [35 KM /2 HRS]

Drive from Kodari to Nyalam (3700m) 35 Km / 2 hrs. Early mornings after breakfast at 8am Chinese border formalities and passes through. Nyalam is a small Tibetan town near the Nepal border.
Overnight stay at guest house.

DAY 4 Day 4 : FULL DAY NYALM HALT:

Rest Day for acclimatization. Nyalam (3700m). This day gives us a chance to relax and acclimatize to the high altitude. A short hiking will be arranged for the yatris.

DAY 5 DAY 5: NYLAM –DONGBA [332 KM /8 HRS BY ROAD]

Today morning after breakfast Drive to Dongba (4250m) 332km / 7-8 hrs.
En-route, pass through Lalung la Pass which is 16,000 feet above sea level, and Lake Pigutso and River Brahmaputra.

DAY 6 DAY 6:DONGBA-MANSA SAROVARA LAKE VIA CHIU [422 KM /7 HRS]

Today beautiful day drive to Manasarovar Lake crossing over Mayum La and Chhongo Lake one the way. On the south of Lake is Mt. Gurla Mandhata (7728m) on south and Holy Kailash on the north. Lake Manasarovar is considered the holiest of all of Tibet’s many lakes.

DAY 7 Day 7:mansa sarovar lake –darchen 60 km

After breakfast set up a private bathing tent on the shores of Lake Manasarovar for the traditional sacred bath most pilgrims perform before circumambulating the holy mountain. We then perform puja and hawan on the banks. After lunch, one hour drive to Darchen. And overnight stay at guesthouse at darchen.

DAY 8 Day 8 : darchen to darboche [8 km by road]-diraphuk[ 12 km by trek]

After breakfast drive to Tarboche (8Kms) and start Kailash Parikrama, trek for 12 Kms. to Diraphuk( closest view of north face of Mount Kailash). It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; water falls with some clouds in the clear blue sky making you feel that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessings to you. Times to time the face of Kailash keep appearing at Dhirapuk. Halt at guesthouse

DAY 9 Day 9 diraphuk to Dolma la pass- 5650m to Zutulphuk Gompa (4790m) -22km- 9-10hrs [by trek]

Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage with Dolma Pass at 18,600 ft. Yamasthal should be crossed to reach Shiva-sthal while your steps go closer to the pass. Once you reach the top (Dolma La), just do the holiest offering and sit down for meditation. Once your steps go down, Parvati-stal and Gauri Kund are on the way. By late afternoon arrive at Zuthul Puk .
And vist zuthlphuk gompha.

GOURI KUNDA: As per Hindu mythology, there is a fascinating tale about Gauri Kund and has been described in legend “Shiva Purana”. The lake is also famous as “Parvati Sarovar” as this was the place where goddess Parvati had acquired her son Ganesha (Elephant headed God). Goddess Parvati had formed an image of Ganesh from the soap lather on her body and breathed life into it. She placed Ganesha at the entrance of her home as her janitor to prevent anyone from entering while she was bathing. Now Lord Shiva happened to return at this point of time and was stopped by Ganesha. Offended by this disrespectful act from Ganesha, Lord Shiva cut off the boy’s head. Pravati was grief-stricken by seeing it and insisted that the boy needs to be brought back to life. Lord Shiva took the head of a wandering elephant and placed it on the body and life was restored and Parvati had her son back.

DAY 10 Day 10;Trek to Trangsar Maniwalls:end the parikrama-8km and drive to Paryang or Dongba.


This is our last trek day and we have to make short trek about 2.5 hours so we wake up in normal time and begin trekking to Trangsar Maniwalls:end the parikrama-8km and drive to Paryang or Dongba

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • All notice of cancellation must be sent to our office in written.
  • Verbal cancellations will not be entertained.
  • 21days period from tour departure date 50% cancellation.
  • 15 days period from tour departure date 100% cancellation.
  • Tour operators has fully right to change the dates and cancel the trip if any unavoidable circumstances.
  • Cancellation charges are applicable as per company rules.
  • No refund will be made towards unutilised services of the tour.
  • Advance amount paid towards reservation of seats is not refundable

Tibet Tours & Tibet Tours Chinese counterpart agent shall not be responsible for any alternation or cancellation of program due to any unavoidable circumstances beyond control such as road blockade, landslide, snow, political unrest cancellation of flight, delay arrival, lack of transport, visa rejected by Chinese authorities, sickness or accident. Any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients on the spot. Since Tibet is very remote place and road are very rough sometime good vehicle may braked.
  • We highly advised to the clients to have full insurance against medical, trip cancellation and personal accident risk.

DOCUMENT:

Minimum 6 months valid passport and 5 copies of pp size photograph. A normal health certificate from your personal doctor to those are18 TO 50 years and above by age.

FITNESS:

This is not a trek or expedition but a tour; therefore no specific level of fitness is required. Anybody can join this Yatra if they think themselves fit and have strong willpower. People suffering from cardiac or respiratory problems should consult to their doctor. Morning and evening walks, jogging, stretching, meditation and regular exercise make the journey comfortable for all.

CLOTHING’S:

As the temperature varies greatly between day and night (from max. 20 degrees Celsius to min. -16 degrees Celsius) one should prepare accordingly.

3 week before original passport and 4 pp sizes photo should reach our office

500 and 1000 notes from India are illegal to bring in Nepal; it can be confiscated at airport.
